Bringing Up Strength in Lagging Body Parts and Non-Dominant Hand
“Last year I tore my lat on my left side. I am right handed anyway so this really just exacerbated the difference between my right and left hands in terms of grip strength. I have closed the gap on pure grip strength between the two (based on dynamometer / various gripper training) but still see a massive difference in terms of grip competition lifts (in my opinion because of the whole chain from the arm to the back being quite different now between the two sides).
Do you have any advice or observations in terms of best way to catch a lagging side up on various lifts? I know it is not realistic to have them equal on all lifts but would like to have a couple lifts at least where using the non-dominant hand would be a good option in competition.”
