New Product Test Drive – Gripper Training DVD
From time to time, I like to post a section (or in this case, the majority) of products I have coming up here at the TGA site.
I do this because I like delivering high quality features for you guys and I like to see if you guys have any feedback for me.
What I am posting here is the video that I put together for everyone who bought V2 Vulcans from me recently.
Now, the plan is to cover much more information in my next DVD, (I have already shot quite a bit more) which will obviously be on Grippers, but since so many people have more than just Vulcans in their Gripper Collection, I wanted to cover a larger scope of equipment and training possibilities.
So, please enjoy these videos and if there is anything else that you think I should include in the video, please post a comment.
Otherwise, I hope hearing and seeing the points covered in this video help you make some good solid gains in your training!
Part I – Vulcan Gripper Training
Part II – Vulcan Gripper Training
Again, I am looking for feedback as well as questions, comments, and suggestions. Thanks guys!
Thanks for subscribing.

Excellent stuff Jedd. I just recently got a Vulcan and this has been very helpful. Excited for the DVD. I am a big note taker so here are the things I took notes on.
-Set explinations
-Rubber Bands
-Setting and using thumb to its full potential
-Chalking
-Index finger Hooking
-Setting and conserving energy for the close
-Firing Lat, Setting up high with both arms
-Stepping into the close
-Pulsing
-And the Training.
On the Cross bow, is it pinching + wrapping fingers then release? Wanted to work on my set, as I move up in levels it is getting much harder to set the Vulcan well.Seems I spend more time getting a good set but wasting lots of energy doing so. Videos are very helpful. Thanks!

The cross bow and pinchers are used to reinforce the set by training the non-gripping arm/hand. Pinchers are used to close the gripper down as far as possible with the off hand, working mainly the thumb and index finger (maybe some middle finger). The Crossbow is used to train the whole setting arm, mainly with the power coming from the lat. I will cover these in more detail in this month’s coaching call.
Thanks,
Jedd
